color wheel

Most people are familiar with the standard color wheel used to teach about colors and their relationships. This wheel is based on the three primary colors of red, yellow, and blue. By mixing these three colors together, you can create all of the other colors that exist. The color wheel is a useful tool for artists, interior designers, and anyone who works with color.

However, there are other ways to create a color wheel. One alternative is to use the four primary colors of red, yellow, blue, and green. This type of color wheel is sometimes called a CMYK or RGB color wheel. These letters stand for the colors that make up thiswheel: cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y), and black (K).

Color wheel

The CMYK color wheel is used in printing because it is based on the colors of ink that are used in printers. When you print something, the printer mixes these four colors together to create all of the other colors that you see on the page.

The RGB color wheel is used in electronic displays, such as televisions and computers. This is because red, green, and blue are the colors of light that are used to create all of the other colors on these devices.

While the standard color wheel is based on the three primary colors, the CMYK and RGB color wheels are based on the four primary colors. By using these alternative color wheels, you can get a better understanding of how colors work and how they can be used in different ways.
